At Guwahati’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh will play Asia Cup winners Sri Lanka to start the warm-up matches. The match between Pakistan and Australia at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on October 3 will mark the conclusion of the warm-up round.

2023 ICC World Cup Format
The 2023 ICC World Cup will comprise ten teams. All teams will play against each other in a round-robin stage, meaning every team will play every other team, in the same manner as the previous annual event. We will have 45 matches in this stage, with each side playing nine matches against each of the nine opponents.
The top four teams from the round-robin phase advance straight to the semi-finals, where the teams in first and fourth place play each other in the first semi-final and the teams in second and third place play each other in the second semi-final.
There won’t be a losers’ final; instead, the semi-final winners go to the finals.
