The 2023 edition will begin with England, the reigning champions, playing New Zealand. Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the planned venue for this game.
India, who are presently ranked first in all three forms, will take on five-time champion Australia in Chennai on October 8 to begin their campaign.
Considering that India hasn’t been able to bring home an ICC trophy since 2013, they would be eager to end this ten-year streak.
Each of the 10 competing teams will play two warm-up matches prior to the main tournament. These warm-up matches, which take place from September 29 to October 3, will take place at three different locations in India.
In their two warm-up matches, which are scheduled for Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram, respectively, India will play England and the Netherlands.
